Amendments to the Act on the Arrangement of the State’s Common ICT Services clarify Valtori’s steering

The amended Act entered into force on 15 March 2020.

On 13 March 2020, the President of Finland confirmed the amendment to the Act on the Arrangement of the State's Common ICT Services (1226/2013).

The primary purpose of the amendment was to simplify and clarify Valtori’s steering by terminating Valtori’s Board of Directors.

This change makes Valtori’s steering very similar to that of other government agencies (excluding TUVE steering). As a rule, the tasks of the terminated Board of Directors are now the responsibility of Valtori’s CEO.
